Jasprit Bumrah’s cricketing career took a massive leap when he was spotted by the then Gujarat coach, Kiran More. His raw talent earned him a spot in Gujarat's team, and soon he started making waves with his fast, aggressive bowling. He impressed everyone with his deadly yorkers, which became his signature weapon.

Bumrah made his debut for Gujarat in 2013, showcasing his skills as a fast bowler. His breakthrough moment came when he was selected for the Mumbai Indians (MI) IPL franchise in 2013, after being noticed for his consistency and pace.
