Jasprit Bumrah was born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, into a Sikh family. His father, Jasbir Singh Bumrah, was a businessman, while his mother, Daljit Kaur, is a homemaker. He has a younger sister, Juhika Bumrah. From a young age, Bumrah displayed a keen interest in cricket, and his talent in fast bowling was soon noticed.
