Sachin heads and shoulders above his ilk

India's premier batsman Sachin Tendulkar who turned 31 Saturday last, stands tall among all premier players at the end of this age barrier. In 114 Tests he has scored 9470 runs with 33 centuries and 37 fifties at an average of 57.39.

He leads others by a clear and convincing margin of 22 matches, 2849 runs, ten tons and two fifties as against the next best players in these respective categories.
