Mohammed Kaif (left) and Yuvraj Singh - They need to shine with the bat as well.

Four of India's top order batsmen have failed to muster a fifty in a one day international in the calendar year of 2005. Their collective efforts measure up to just 278 runs at an astonishingly low average of 16.35! These failures include the current skipper as well as his predecessor. Three other batsmen were "successful " enough in getting their last ODI fifty against minnows Bangladesh.

The Details:

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who has played just two innings at the one-down slot, has not been considered.
